Access Copyright Foundation understands that the outbreak of COVID-19 presents extraordinary challenges for artists and arts organizations that have received grants, including others who may intend to apply for upcoming grants.
Please be assured that we will approve an extension to your event or project if it has been postponed.
We ask that you or your organization send us a request for an extension, with a brief narrative about changes to the event because of COVID19 (dates, presenters, venue) and new project dates. We will approve the extension, allowing you to retain your grant and changing the final report due date to accommodate your rescheduled event.
Going forward, your final report should include a budget report reflecting any changes to the costs. While we’re unable to top up the grant to cover additional expenses, we will request the return of unused funding if the grant awarded exceeds eligible expenses.
Applications for upcoming grants (Professional Development and Events) are open; we will process these grants with the understanding that extensions may be necessary due to the conditions imposed by the pandemic.
